A CALL TO ARMS!!!!!!!!!

We have an opportunity, as gamers, to do more than just revitalize our local gaming communities. We can also take advantage of the events we run to enrich our communities at large. I am calling out my fellow gamers to begin a run of charity tournament events. Food drives, toy collections, the opportunities to help the less fortunate around us while driving up interest in the wargamming hobby are limitless. I have planned an Easter food drive tournament in April; I would love to start seeing posts of other charity events being planned. Once an event is planned, local restaurants, merchants, radio and tv stations can often be entreated to sponsor such events. By combing a charity tournament with a charity drive open to the public, we both encourage more to give and display our hobby to many who have never encountered it. I think this could greatly enrich the Games Workshop community, In fact, my wife and I have even agreed to host one of these charity tournaments on our first wedding anniversary. Let's extend our passion for Games Workshop into a passion for all those around us.
